Rope anchor winch — It is a drum winch on which the wire rope is wound. The anchor is attached to the rope. During the anchoring operation, the drum rotates to move the rope in and out. The resulting tension raises or lowers the anchor.
Chain anchor winch — Hawse winches are constructed with gypsy wheels instead of wire rope drums. There are two main types to choose from: the single gypsy winch and the double gypsy winch.
Crooked head windlass — A small curved head or curved tip windlass is optional for your winch. It is a wheel for ropes and is mostly used for auxiliary purposes such as handling towing ropes or additional mooring lines on deck.
